What You’ll Learn
 

E.I.M.P. focuses on understanding how components of genres can affect the emotional quality of a song and why we use certain elements in our productions to convey a message. In this course we formulate our “Why?” behind our reason for making music discussing topics such as making music based on true, personal taste and interest versus what’s popular. We also dive deep into the concept of genres and how carefully selecting elements of genres can help define our unique sound. In addition to this course, add on our music production program, Intro to Music Production with Ableton (I.M.P.A.), which focuses on learning basic concepts in music production using Ableton and applying concepts learned in E.I.M.P. Schedule

Classes will be held virtually on a bi-weekly schedule on Tuesdays from 5-7 PM for ages 12-17, and 7-9 PM for ages 18+ starting Tuesday, February 6, 2024 and ending Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
