15yr old phenom, producer Beats By JT was born to create music. At 6 years old, he was making beats on GarageBand. By the time he was 13, he discovered and fell in love with finger drumming. His music has become viral through social media and has been reposted by industry heavyweights such as Swizz Beats, T-Pain, and R&B legendary Producers, Teddy Riley and Jimmy Jam. JT’s music inspires listeners of all ages to embrace different sounds and genres of music. His music catalog consists of sounds from Pop and Dance to R&B and Hip Hop. At age 14, JT made history as the youngest finalist to compete in multi-platinum music producer Skibeatz, Smackpack Challenge.

 

Now 15yrs old, with a birthday coming in August,  JT relishes every opportunity to be a beacon of hope, and inspiration as he engages in local community service. In December of 2021, JT and Backspinz sponsored his 1st Annual Toy Drive for some deserving students at two local elementary schools. For Kids Inc. made it possible for JT to give out hundreds of toys to help some local families from Portsmouth, and Norfolk, have a happy holiday season. In April of this year, JT partnered with Sk8house Va Beach to sponsor a spring break skate party that raised funds for Samaritan House in their fight against Human Trafficking, it was a great success.

 

On May 14th, 2022,  JT and Backspinz are sponsoring the 1st Annual Community Keepers Awareness Event. This event will highlight organizations fighting against human trafficking. It will feature some community leaders, and representatives on the local and state level all helping to make the community better. JT hopes this event will help spread awareness on how issues like sextortion, and human trafficking is affecting the younger generations and what the local community can do to stop it.
